Jalal

Jalal is a sustainability consultant, advisor, and provocator with over 25 years of professional experience. He has worked for several multilateral organizations and national and multinational companies in the capacity of a subject matter expert, advisor, and board committee related to CSR, sustainability, and ESG. He has founded and become a principal consultant in several sustainability consultancies, held the position of board committees, and volunteered at social organizations that promote sustainability. Jalal has written and edited over ten books and 350 publications in mass media. Beyond attending formal education at Bogor Institute of Agricultural (IPB) and the University of Indonesia (UI), Jalal enrolled in 12 executive education programs at MIT, Harvard, UC Berkeley, Tsinghua, London Business School, Cambridge, and Oxford University. Outside his professional life, Jalal enjoys nature, durian, coffee, and film and music across various genres, including Broadway musicals.
