Green Network Asia (GNA) offers internship opportunities for passionate individuals to join our 5-month remote internship program to learn interdisciplinary insights and practical skills related to our work in supporting sustainable development and sustainability.

Benefits

By joining the GNA Internship Program, you will benefit from rich educational and training experiences. You will be trained and coached directly by our dedicated in-house team members, helping you create and publish high standard portfolio on Green Network Asia’s digital media integrated platforms that will potentially be your long-term networking and digital assets.

At a more technical level, selected interns will benefit from the following:

  Internship Agreement that stipulates clear rights and obligations of the intern and the organization.

  On the Job Training and Coaching.

  Monitoring & Evaluation. 

  Certificate upon completion of the program.

Time Commitment and Payment

This is mainly a weekly routine output-based internship program, with a maximum time commitment of 20 flexible working hours to produce 1-2 content outputs per week.

Please note that this is mainly an unpaid internship. Relevant interns who are assigned to get involved in paid projects will be allocated professional payment for particular outputs (deliverables) they are assigned to work on.

Available Positions

What you will primarily do:

Produce well-researched News, Brief, Interview, and Figure articles, including those featured in the Exclusive Content, according to Green Network Asia’s digital publication standard and style that reflect our ideals.

What you will primarily do:

Produce well-researched Kabar, Ikhtisar, Wawancara, and Figur articles, including those featured in the Konten Eksklusif, according to Green Network Asia’s digital publication standard and style that reflect our ideals. 

What you will primarily do:

Produce well-researched Advocacy Poster, Infographic, 1-Minute Explainer Video, and/or Comic (you can choose to be a specialist in any of these outputs, please indicate your preference in your application for example: Social Media Campaigner Intern_Infographic) in Indonesian and English according to Green Network Asia’s digital publication standard and style that reflect our ideals.

What you will primarily do:

Create well-researched multimedia outputs to support cross-department activities such as Research, Capacity Building Training, Event, and Advocacy & Digital Campaigns, including but not limited to Book/Report Layouts, Editorial Images (Illustration), Virtual Backgrounds, Video Editing, and/or Comic Visualization according to Green Network Asia’s digital publication standards and style that reflect our ideals.

Additional Notes:

  During the internship program, the interns at all positions will join online weekly meetings every Monday 09.00 AM – maximum 10.30 AM Jakarta time to brainstorm and report the work process, progress, and results. If you can’t make it due to other urgent matter, you should ask permission to HR in advance.

  The design of the training in this internship program is mostly on the job training. There may be occasional online internal training sessions with experts and thought leaders for the in-house team and interns.

If we find your story useful, we may help review, edit, and publish your submission (with your approval) organically even though your Internship Application may not be successful due to only very limited slots available for the Reporter Intern role.

Selection Process and Final Decision

The Internship opportunities with Green Network Asia is open throughout the year.
