Internship Opportunities

Green Network Asia (GNA) offers internship opportunities for passionate individuals to join our 6-month remote internship program to learn interdisciplinary insights and practical skills related to our work in supporting sustainability and sustainable development.

Benefits

By joining the GNA Internship Program, you will benefit from rich educational and training experiences. You will be trained and coached directly by our dedicated in-house team members, helping you create and publish high standard portfolio on Green Network Asia’s digital media integrated platforms that will potentially be your long-term networking and digital assets.

At a more technical level, selected interns will benefit from the following:

  Internship Agreement that stipulates clear rights and obligations of the intern and the organization.

  Small financial allowance for internet data.

  Training and Coaching.

  Routine Monitoring through weekly team meetings and Evaluation by the end of the program.

  Certificate upon completion of the program.

Time Commitment

This is mainly an output-based internship program, with an expected time commitment of 2-4 flexible working hours/day (10-20 hours/week), Monday to Friday for 6 months, including 1-month probation, to see if you can continue the program for the whole 6 months.

We implement probation period because we deeply value our team’s precious time and energy; hence, we want to coach the right people who take the opportunity seriously and are willing to make efforts to complete the internship program.

Criteria

We look for individuals who share the following traits that align with our team’s values and culture:

  Passionate and purpose-driven about getting involved in creating a positive impact for people and the planet through sustainable development-related public education and advocacy efforts; this is the DNA of our work at Green Network Asia.

  Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., open-minded, willing to learn-unlearn-relearn, willing to suspend judgment, flexible, respectful); a good team player, willing to learn and practice our values and culture internally and externally with all people.

  Strong written and oral communication skills (e.g., empathetic, honest, confident, articulate, willing to listen) in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia.

  Strong strategic, critical, and analytical thinking.

  Positive attitude and strong ethics in personal and professional settings

  Self-starter, able to learn and work independently with little to no daily supervision.

  Fast learner, adaptive, and innovative.

  Strong attention to detail.

  Strong time management, able to deliver the appointed tasks within the deadlines.

 

Available Positions

Intern - Reporter

What you will primarily do:

Produce well-researched News/Kabar, Brief/Ikhtisar, Interview/Wawancara, and Figure/Figur articles according to Green Network Asia’s digital publication standard and style that reflect our ideals

Intern - Training & Event Organizer

What you will primarily do:

Organize well-researched training & event sessions according to Green Network Asia’s standards and style that reflect our ideals.

Intern - Social Media Campaigner

What you will primarily do:

Produce well-researched social media content for all our social media channels, such as posts, reels, stories, and videos according to Green Network Asia’s digital publication standard and style that reflect our ideals.

Intern - Business Partnerships

What you will primarily do:

Generate well-researched new business leads to increase and accelerate Green Network Asia’s relevant business partnership pipelines and projects.

Intern - Multimedia Designer

What you will primarily do:

Create well-researched multimedia outputs to support cross-department activities such as research, training & events, and advocacy & digital campaigns according to Green Network Asia’s digital publication standards and style that reflect our ideals.

Additional Notes:

  During the internship program, interns at all positions will be involved in the overall teamwork to enrich your internship experience and train you to be versatile with extensive skill sets that will help prepare you for real-world strategic professional work.

  During the internship program, interns at all positions will join online weekly meetings and selective project meetings to brainstorm and report the work process, progress, and results.

  During the internship program, interns at all positions will join available online training sessions organized by Green Network Asia.
