JJ-LAPP and Tonking New Energy have officially signed a Distribution Agreement to strengthen their partnership in advancing floating solar solutions across ASEAN countries on October 16, 2025.T he signing ceremony took place during the IGEM: IInternational Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia 2025 exhibition, held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia.
Agreement for Renewable Energy
This new agreement builds upon the memorandum of understanding previously signed between both companies, marking another milestone in their shared vision to accelerate renewable energy deployment in Southeast Asia.
Through this partnership, JJ-LAPP becomes the authorised distributor of Tonking’s floating solar mounting systems in the region, combining Tonking’s cutting-edge technology with JJ-LAPP’s extensive market presence and technical service capabilities.
“Formalising this distribution partnership is a natural next step in our collaboration with Tonking New Energy,” said Lionel Yap, JJ-LAPP’s Regional Manager – Renewable Energy, ASEAN. “With Tonking’s proven expertise in floating solar systems and our strong local support, we are ready to offer reliable and efficient clean energy solutions to support the region’s sustainability goals.”

- Plug-and-play installation for faster on-site deployment.
- 25-year product warranty ensuring long-term reliability.
- Reservoir-safe certification – made from food-grade material, passing chemical and microbiological tests.
- High load capacity – unit floater buoyancy over 600kg.
